With a new term just around the corner, it’s time to solidify your planning, including value-added objectives that align with your President or Provost. There are several initiatives and efforts independent stores can undertake to support students, faculty and campus. These specific initiatives and efforts may be critical to improved student outcomes, and aren’t necessarily in the business interest of for-profit lease operators. The bookstore is well positioned (perhaps uniquely positioned) to embrace and accomplish these university-wide goals and objectives. We will explore these ideas that can help you immediately become invaluable to your campus.
